First Friday Mosaics - Using Talavera Tiles for Mosaics MAR 1 2019
The FIRST FRIDAY of every month, 1030 am-noon. $15
On the first Friday of the month, we have a short 1.5-hour session - part social, part educational - on mosaic tips, tricks, and techniques offered by a variety of talented mosaic artists and guest speakers. Most sessions have a hands-on component, as well. It's a great way to learn what is going on in the world of mosaics and to practice techniques. Also, feel free to bring your mosaics to share with the group! Come for tips, practice, refreshments, and camaraderie!

TOPIC: Using Talavera Tiles for Mosaics
Chello Chavez, mosaic artist and owner of Gone 2 Pieces studio in Tucson, talks to you about the colorful and beautiful talavera tiles she loves as the medium for her artwork.
